COVID – 19 outbreak is REAL.

High Achievers Coach International Academy (HACIA) encourages all its learners to stay at home, locked down and to also encourage other learners from other schools(through peer group platforms) to stay at home. This self lock down strategy at family level is essential as a way of complementing government efforts in dealing with the COVID – 19 outbreak.

Social distancing is better than attempting to cure the COVID – 19. Avoid public places and gatherings and ensure all WHO and Ministry of Health and Child Welfare precautions are respected and adhered to. We must all adopt the Presidential directives and add on more measures to close the gaps. Remember infection can still take place between 2 or more persons. All learners in Zimbabwe must realise that they are the hope of our nation and the future belongs to them. This is not the time for Jail Breaks and any other form of mischief! Turning down invitations for lunch and ice cream is the best vaccine for COVID – 19 outbreak.

Social distancing or physical distancing is a set of nonpharmaceutical infections control actions intended to stop or slow down the spread of a contagious disease. The objective of social distancing is to reduce the probability of contact between persons carrying an infection, and others who are not infected, so as to minimize disease transmission, morbidity and ultimately, mortality.

Certain household chores must be completed by the core families. Our helpers at home must also be locked down at family level and avoid the lunch time breaks along the streets and roads. The times we are living in require extraordinary measures. Our family homes must be no go areas for friends and relatives. Parents must sanitise themselves before getting into their homes when coming from work.

Visitors must be turned away politely. This may sound uncultural but we must never drink poison for cultural reasons. There is need for serious community based awareness.

We encourage all learners to pray for our country. Our God is on our side.

Psalm 91:1-7 – He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings, you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

Awareness Release 1 – Forward to other learners.
